How did you get more than 12 weeks? FMLA would only keep my job position for 12. And I have preeclampsia so I had to quit work early which means I donβt get a very long maternity leave with my baby girl. π any tips for going back to work? I know itβs going to be so hard to leave her.

I think itβs ridiculous how little maternity leave you get. You get a year in the UK. Three months old seems far too young to go back to work π’
I quit bartending 6 months ago and now my change is empty. I'd save $400 every 6 months and change and use it for vacay. I have like $5 now in change

I didn't not quite understand my policy, I didn't know I would only be paid for my time after I gave birth. So I went 3 almost 4 weeks with no pay because I took off 2 weeks before my due date. Smh I was struggling towards the end, because I had a small savings but thank God taxes came :).
wow in Canada we get a whole year off. And govt gives you 50 percent of your wages
