How to do an Instant Savings Deal at Dollar General Smoothly — Couponing @ DG
I know a lot of you have given up shopping at Dollar General all together. I told you I would help so this is everything I can think of to help you have smooth transactions at Dollar General. We have some very HOT instant savings deals this week so I focused on instant savings in this video. Thanks, nice video very,very much appreciated. I don't let the cashier's know that I have a 3 off 15 so that they automatically hit the total then I say I forgot to give you my survey coupon. After that I say plus I want to put in my digitals. I also give them my paper coupons at the very end. It's been working for me so far. Thanks for the tips about instant savings I've never done any of those transactions before. Can't wait to see some scenarios this week.

Sometimes my digital coupons do not come off when I know they should or last time my transaction did not go as planned because they did not have one item in stock so I had to do something a little different than planned.

Hi Christa, Thank you so much the info. The problem I have at two DG that are in the area where I work, the manuf. coupons do not go through at all. They do not push them through. These are coupons that come from the inserts. I wasn't the only couponer having this problem. I did find a DG that's on the other side of town where I live. I didn't have a problem with that store. My $5/$25 transaction went great. While shopping at Rite Aid, the cashier asked where did I get my coupons. I told her I got them. She was telling me about the great deal on Gain. I told her I always have problems using inserts coupons at two DG. She told me she had the same problem. She explain to me they need to update their registers. Well, I just found out recently from another couponer the DG in her area had turned off the scanner so they would not scan insert coupons. How she found out she called corporate and asked for the DM in her area. That's when he found out they were turning off the scanner. They gave her a $10.00 gift card for her troubles. I will try another DG when I go to my doctor's appointment on Wednesday.
