So coupons are available in many ways in many forms and they’re available all the time. They’re available for all kinds of things, too. They are available for grocery items, for personal care products, for clothing. They’re available for hotels, for restaurants, for car rentals. They’re available for home repairs, car repairs, all kinds of things. In this envelope, I have coupons for pizza, for tires for my car, for more pizza, for a closet in my home. This one is for a hundred dollars off a roof on my house. This one is for an oil change in my car. This is for new windows for my house, for a maid service in my home, another pizza coupon. This one is for air conditioning tune-up for my car. This one is to clean my carpet, another one to clean my carpet. This one is for another restaurant. This one is for pet food. This one is to trim and take care of the trees at my home. This one is to clean my windows. This one is for money off of a flag. This one is for contact lenses for the eyes. This one is for a bank. They’re just available for all kinds of things all the time.

So these are all my coupons in my bag here. And some of them print out at the machine when you pay for your goods at the supermarket. Others come in the mail and you can cut them out, so you can use them at any store whereas this coupon you can only use at Meijer. These are manufacturer coupons and you can use them at any store that sells the goods listed on the coupon. They do have an expiration date, so you have to go through them and make sure that they’re not expired. There’s also stipulations at the bottom, so you have to read those and follow the stipulations or you may not get your discount.

So, coupons come for all different things. So there’s hair dye ones. Some of them that I have here are organized into things like batteries or plastic and garbage bags. I have stuff that’s going to be in the milk and dairy area of the store so it’s easier for me to find them. We have cleaning products, paper towels, shampoo. All sorts of different things come. Some of the other ones … lunch meat, contact solution if you wear contacts, vitamins, soap and body wash, all sorts of stuff comes not only just food.

There are also applications for coupons that you can get for your phone such as the Kroger application. So, if you click on that, it takes you into the application where you can see the weekly ad at your store; you can clip your own coupons; you can make a list for yourself. There are many more options on here, but just to show you like the coupons, if you click on that, all the available coupons will come up that you can use at this Kroger store. Again, these are not for every store, but most supermarkets have an application such as this. So we drove by a Meijer before. That store has an application. This one for Kroger, this shows that I’ve already picked out, that I want the coupon for the Lucky Charms cereal which is why there is now a minus sign. For the Doritos, there’s a plus sign because I have not said that I want that coupon yet. So, if I do want it, I can click on it to double check to see if all the stipulations listed like on the paper coupons are something that I want, and then I hit Load to Card.

When you use your phone number along with your four-digit PIN, you get points. Those can be put towards the gas station at the supermarket. These can also, for this particular supermarket, Kroger, be used at other gas stations, such as the Shell gas station for a discount on your gas.

Another way to get coupons for stores is to go online and search for them, especially department stores, shoe stores. All sorts of different stores have coupons online. So, this is the J.C. Penney website here and there is even a link to get store coupons.
