i like the financial type videos but also like hearing how you organized your school binder, study time etc. i am not super great at organizing and love seeing how people do it as it gives me ideas. one day i would love to go back to school for nursing so very intriguing to see how you do things!

I like whatever you post. You seem mkre down to earth than alot of Youtubers and i like it.

Having gone through this myself, it makes me really excited to see others make progress. I'm glad you post these. Not getting coupons through school, but my wife and I still "wait" for deals to come along to do certain things. It all works out in the end.

My Blessed Life says:

house organization, hauls, hauls from SB, cleaning

I wonder about how you have a social life when you have no money for it. Old friends are easy as you can just invite them over for pasta but when you want to continue your social network and meet casual friends, how do you socialize. Can you just tell them, well I can't even meet out for coffee as I am on a tight budget. I am talking about people who you know too casually to invite to your house.

amorphous face says:

]Another thing I wonder about are things such as what do you do when you are invited to a wedding especially if it is for a relative. Wedding presents are expensive. Do you just decline the invitation so you don't have to buy a pressent? What if it is a family member and people start guilting you saying you have to attend. How can you justify buying a present for someone else when you aren't even buying anything for yourself other than food? What about when you are invited to birthday presents for your kid's friends. How do you tell your kids that they can't go to a party becasue you were irresponsible with money in the past? Don't mean that as an insult as I could deprive myself all day long but kids are a soft spot.

I am glad you asked what I would like to see on the video. I have watched a ton of these types of videos on budgeting and I never see explanations about having friends and a social life when you are budgeting like this. What do you say when people say "we should get together". Do you just say well "Sorry we are paying off debt for the next 5 years and can't go out." I mean you can go to someone's house for dinner or invite someone to your house but that is most likely to be with people you already have a close relationship with. Not really just casual relationships. I am struggling with this because although I have zero debt, I am barely surviving month to month and that is because I can't even afford to meet people out for a coffee.

Those coupons are awesome! Sucks about your schooling but I guess it just wasn't meant to be for Jan 2018.

Sorry to hear that about your class being canceld!
I would love to see more kinda organizing videos and stuff. I did really enjoy your study time spreadsheet and thinking about creating one on my own. I do need to get more accountable for myself about studying and doing my homework for school. I get easily distracted by other stuff and that sheet could help me!
I also really like your money talk videos and maybe some more saving money tips and tricks. Luckily I don't have debts yet but I am a college student in Germany and fortunately my parents are able to pay for university every semester and we are lucky that university fees aren't as high as in the US or other countrys. We have to pay, at least at my university, around 350 euros per semester. But I kinda wanna get my money savings better and organized and so on. I know it might sound weird but following people struggeling with debt, it made me realize that I don't want to be there at all. Its kinda motivating for me to save my money and to be mindful with purchases etc.

Hope you have a great weekend!

Daily life, cheap meals, grocery hauls and debt updates is what I love to see.

Bunchy The Budgeteer says:

Budgeting planning videos, cash envelope and sinking fund videos, and general 'wins and fails' along the way are my favourite types of videos.
Sorry to hear that your nursing schedule is off track, but I'm glad you were able to see the positives that this could bring, in the form of your tax return to debt.

Could you make a video explaining Swagbucks. I mean like idiot-level explanation. I hear lots of youtubers mention Swagbucks, but when I signed up for it I didn't get it. I DON"T want to use their weird search box for internet searches, so I think that just leaves me with watching videos to earn credits. But it seems like an inordinate amount of videos (even if you left them running and did something else). Do I understand it right that the minimum "redemption" amount is $3, but you need 300 points to get it? When each video or quiz is worth 5-ish points, that takes forever. I am probably making it way to hard or being stupid about it, but if you had time to explain how to make it work or set up a "Swagbucks routine" or something that would be great.

Wow! Are those courses all prerequisites for nursing school? Anatomy and patho were courses I took in nursing school. I guess things are different now, I graduated 20 years ago 🙂
