4% for groceries on a credit card is awesome. My credit card only gives 2%
Great tips and tricks here! Just curious if you've ever tried hello fresh or chef's plate? when you first join you get some pretty impressive savings on meals and can skip deliveries/cancel anytime
I don't know if this is a hack, but this is something I do..
Whenever there are sales on the personal hygiene or cleaning supplies I know I'll use, I'll stock up on those and I try to keep those purchases separate from groceries. I'll save money on those products, they won't go bad, and I won't be going to the store specifically for those items when I actually need them, meaning I will almost never pay regular price for them. It also means I won't be tempted to buy other things that I didn't plan on or otherwise don't need. I also do that with other items such as socks and boxer briefs. =)
The point being, the less trips you make to the grocery store, the less you will spend in general and on things you don't necessarily need.. In essence, it's also easier to stay in budget when you create a budget.
OMG these Chinese are outrageously cheap. Maybe focus on making money instead of saving 4k in 10 years.
Meal planning and meal prep are the best! β€
A other grocery hack I do now is to bring empty cans to the groceryβs recycle machine then keep the receipt and present it to the cashier for the amount to be subtracted from my grocery bill.
If you're budgeting, get rid of the cell phone. You haven't budgeted until you've lived on $1400 a month !!
Awesome, Thanks for sharing. β€
I donβt know anyone who pays for parking at the grocery store. Not in America normally unless in a major city. Gas both ways isnβt over 7.00. I never order as I get free transportation.
Content is so good
Thank you β€ I subscribed ! Greetings from Chicago
Hello, so your budget is 700 a month for two people? Iβm asking because Iβve only been 2 weeks in π¨π¦ and a couple of months ago someone told me their budget for two people was 500 a month but I seem to be spending more π Btw, your video gives excellent advice. Thanks!!
cute and smart~
plz plz plz marry me! β€β€β€
Walmart is not considered a grocery by your credit card. It's a department store so you only get 1% cash back instead of 4%.
I have the same credit card if you keep 5K in your account (Ultimate package) the fee is waived, I hope you do this.
I also have Scotia iTrade which gives me 5 free trades a year with the Ultimate package.
You clearly donβt have a Costco membership you will save thousands,I only buy gas β½οΈ from Costco which is about 8-10 cents a litre cheaper which pays for my membership and they deliver.
One example is a rotisserie chicken 1.2K is 7.99 at Sobeys itβs I believe 14 or 15 dollars.
The flashfood app is an option. Grocery stores offer food at a discounted rate since it's close to the best before date / expiry date
Downloading grocery flyer apps saves me a lot of money as well. Flipp is the one I use but I'm sure there's way more. Also going to different grocery stores and even drug stores is worth it sometimes.
Your channel will grow massively. Your tips are helpful. π If I get married, 50/50 is out of the question! He must pay for everything.
I'd love to open a moomoo account but I might need your help to set it up because I'm a complete beginner n don't want to make mistakes n I'm gonna use your link.
Greatly appreciated π π
Bonjour ! You're videos are always interesting and helpful. Thanks. I already subscribed to your both channels and I put like. You also help me to keep up with my English skills. Keep up your excellent work. Greetings from Vaudreuil-Dorion in QuΓ©bec. nb : sometimes I put the speed of the videos at 1.5 or 2 and I still understand everything even if you speak fast at 2x. I'm looking forward to watch your future videos. Merci !
Great channel π β€
Can you share your meals menu and make recipe video for each one of them.
It's very very very…. much really difficult to stay in Canadas right now!!! Example the rent of the room is worth US$ 3,075.00 a month!!!
The logical math people can measure their food but they still can't control their eating. I'm rather an emotional person who doesn't track any data yet I can control precisely what I eat and indeed I can eat like a computer, yet even Warren Buffet can't stop drinking cokes and eating candy. π
