That Margaret Holmes stuff would probably last 100 year > it has more sodium in a can than the Great Salt Lake.
Try spam with a coating of bread crumbs and egg wash (pinade) ,then dry in oil . Eat alone or as a sandwich with mayonnaise, lettuce and tomato.

Hey get a can of "Bacon Spam" thin slice 2 pieces then bread {2} and 2 pieces of cheese {top and bottom of the meat}lightly fry the spam then butter the bread and make a "spam"grilled cheese{mao.op.} great with tomato soup. Blow ur weinnie sausages out of the water!

My liberal arrogant know it all sister in debt up to her armpits went into my mom's pantry and threw out all her canned food she had stocked up for an emergency. I came in and made her stop throwing out the things I just bought for mom but all of the food was safe to eat. What do you do about idiot relatives who just invite themselves into other people's homes?

I'm a person who says dents ANYWHERE are a NO, if they have ANY dent, nope. What I do do, is complain to whatever store, get a refund in full, I will go full on Karen till my coin is replaced, and then donate them to those braver than I. I was raised that ANY DENT could lead to food poisoning. Having suffered that once, never again, better safe than sorry.

Once used a can of Campbell cream of mushroom soup 1 year after āuse by or best if used byā date. It was spoiled.
Anyone who says they "enjoy" eating canned pears has a credibility issue with me. Canned beverages go bad after a relatively short time, because the metal actually "breathes" through microscopic holes to where the gas escapes. I guess that coating they put in canned foods must prevent that. What scientific studies have actually been done on chemical residue in canned foods? I hardly believe that there's no breakdown of that "hidden layer of protection" inside the can that you speak of …. sounds more like a deodorant advertisement than anything to me. Thanks for the time and sharing invested in presenting this video. Reminds me of what happened to a guy I worked with … his wife made him a sandwich for his lunch from a canned ham that was kept unrefrigerated. Before he left the plant, they had to wheel him out on a gurney and he was rushed to the hospital for food poisoning. When he recovered (could have died) he asked his wife, "Why did you try to poison me, didn't you see that the ham was rancid?" Her response? "Well, I saw it had a lot of green mold, but I cut the moldy part off … and gave you just the good part." True story!
Be sure to look for a rust on the seams! And bottom! As well swelling of can! Smell all food!

I have several packages of Pacific brand organic chicken broth and vegetable broth that are in cartons. They had a best buy date of April 2021…wondering if they are still good. Hope you will consider doing a video on carton foods as well as shelf stable meals (like Hormel Compleats) and pouch foods (like Tasty Bite brand or Saffron Road brand).
