Nice Tips……..

The Tae Kwon Doe says:

I quit buying bulk items at the local health food store when my son noticed there were bugs in the bin of one of the items. Nope, don't need that hassle.

Lithostoic says:

I'm so lucky to live in Florida, most fruits are in season year round! And a lot of us have fruit trees in our yard 🙂 We have limes, mangoes, and bananas.

Alexandra Vicuna-Perry says:

Costco is a great place to buy in bulk and they have lots so vegan, organic and even kombucha which is pretty pricey elsewhere. Thank you for the tips

Such a useful video, Alyssa! Thanks for helping to dispel the notion that plant-based eating is always expensive!

Meg Kaye says:

I love shopping sales but if they're good enough, I go crazy 😂 my favorite cashew butter is a whopping $17 a jar, but my local health food shop reduced it to $10 for a month of august. My pantry is literally filled with cashew butter now!

Jamie Crisp says:

I just began Plant Based. I used to think it was expensive. I'm on a fixed income. When in reality all that pre made foods and meats are more expensive. This is a great video especially for starters like myself. I've only been at it for a week. I've noticed since I started my sugar level went down to my lowest I have ever been it was 93 today. It's been between 101-93 since I started. When I was eating cheese and junk foods. It was always between 120-130. And I noticed my allergies are getting a bit better. I miss cheese some. But I know how it makes me feel after eating it. Hopefully I can make it to week two. 🙂 I made a great meal today and it was filling and satisfying. I made a portobello mushroom burger, with fries and homemade veggie broth gravy. And also zucchini fritters. Vegan of course. It was so good. Oh I also use vegan mayo called Just Mayo. And I'm having to take supplements anyways. So I thought I'd try this. It took me a year to decide. I watch video's and researched. I watched Fork Vs Knives and that kind of helped me decide what I wanted to do. 🙂 And I love your video's. I still need to try Quinoa. I do love the Quinoa pasta. So I may love the Quinoa itself. Will give it a try soon. 🙂

Happy TX says:

I'm lucky I can shop at Costco and Trader Joe's. They have choices for fresh and frozen fruits and vegetables. Thanks
