I just started couponing. Someone suggested Ibotta to get more money back. At this point I’m not sure if I should even download the app. Is it worth it still?
Hey Nick, just a clarification. So are we still allowed to stack Ibotta rebates with other rebate apps on everything or are rebate apps included in what you can’t stack?
They just need to make a decision and stick to it! Otherwise people are going to continue to be frustrated and stop using the app
i quite using ibotta they are lazy they say talk to your store about having them contact on adding new items to ibotta that they sell, most the items they want me to by are pricy i can only buy gluten free items, i think they should pay more cash back because they choose the pricier items instead of the cheaper ones

Not everyone using coupons is a couponer. Some are simply on strict budgets so changing things without notice and denying after can cause someone to not be able to afford other necessities that month. While they have a right to change terms and don’t owe an explanation there are people who rely on their service.
I always think about the beginning of the pandemic when I watched an elderly lady carefully getting items on her list and crossing them off. Getting items from the bulk section and putting a little back after counting her money including change and looking at her coupons. That’s who Ibotta should consider when flip flopping back and forth.
So now I’m noticing some of mine say no coupons combined AT WALMART . Does that mean we can use coupons at other stores that qualify and just not Walmart .
Thanks for your hardwork but I really don’t know why you waste time with such crazy app ; I mean an hour of work will give us whatever We need without all this hassle and it is not as stressful as this app and it’s offers are! It is definitely Waste of time and energy
Thank you for the information about Ibotta. You were one of the reason I save so much. Being a extreme couponer, coupons help me save a lot along with Ibotta. I won't be using this app as much & will cash out . It looks like the end of Ibotta for me.
Most offers I have seen say can't be combined with coupons or promo codes at Walmart…but does that mean we can use with other rebate apps. TIA…
I was going to go do those p&g offers today because I finally had a chance to go, and they change it 🙁 if they didn’t want stacking why put it out in a format that allows it, then take it off? Just makes me sad and frustrated
nick have u read the article about ibotta and walmart signing togther its on the ad exchanger. There ceo says its geared toward making sure consumers dont get double rebates basically.
My couponing has gone way way done, with the 2/3 of the paper coupons gone away and now no coupon with the Ibotta app at Walmart ( where I did the most couponing ). I’m disappointed, I did this as a hobbie and donated almost all of it in the last 3 yrs, now I don’t know what to do, 😢
I really also think since Ibotta partnered with Walmart they are trying to push us into getting Walmart plus and just using Walmart rewards and cutting out Ibotta all together…but that is just my thoughts
Although Ibotta is on my nerves…this morning they put an offer out on Lipton tea immune support 12 pk bottles..the pineapple mango kind..$3 off..at my stores they are $5.98…so a great deal there…but to be clear…Ibotta is still on my nerves..even tho I love them 😂
For me it’s not just the lack of communication, but the random changes mid-day!

I am wondering myself is it worth it to buy inserts anymore?
I wrote them a letter about the unprofessional methods they have used over the past three weeks concerning their policy changes about coupons. The company has a right to change their policy’s but there is a way to do it without alienating the customers. Customers also have the right to stop using Ibotta and if that’s what the company is wanting they are off to a good start. In this fast paced technology age customer service is a thing of the past.. This is just one ol Lady’s opinion.

I've just been getting whatever they post free or almost free and rebates on things I get anyways it sucks I don't like it but not gonna chance using coupons and they changing it & taking the money back, I was just really learning how to coupon pretty good.
That is my thing as well… no email or nothing… communication. We just got hit with it and expected to know 🤦🏻♀️
