Future Hendrixxx says:

That's a big difference in Valhalla, thanks for showing how important can cpu's be also in 1440p.

TOP PRO says:

all day long twice one sunday

NZ NEWS says:

Rofl we have a cleaning product in new zealand called jif . I'm not a rich man , so the i5 will do me lol . Only playing at 1080 p , so probably no point getting anything better tbh . Has to be much better than my 4690 k by miles

Brett Culley says:

glad i pay for youtube premium, i don't think you could cram anymore ads into your videos

Chet Scarecrow says:

I like your choice of graphics card.

Danny Big D says:

lol.. man I remember this guy SO many years ago. Nice to see him still going strong!

Yamil Montes says:

Windows 11 needs a more…desktop like UI, it's kinds disappointing having to use a tablet windows OS to take advantage of the P-E Core director

SR R says:

It feels weird that intel has more TDP than AMD. Back then FX9590 has almost 3x power than i7 4770

Daddski 1 says:

I would like to see a rematch with equal core counts ( I know that would be the 57 or 5800 that AMD called the 7 series but it would then be apples to apples, equal in count.I get the p core thing but still, intel designed it that way and made a 16 thread cpu calling it I5, so lets match 16 to 16? Is it possible? 🙂 and same ram. How much difference do you think the ddr 5 vs 4 did? Cas rate of 16 vs 40 is a huge jump. Thanks for another great video. I run the 5950 and have or see no need to make any changes for a few years to come. However' I am defiantly interested in seeing what the new Ryzen chips will bring at 5 and 4 nm in a short few months.

GrimoireVoss says:

5:26 The VAST majority of gamers play in 1080. Anything higher is useless.

AL Surya says:

now, 2022, even 5900X cant fight with 12600k, consider the price. Need a whole new AMD Cpu

Cody Guy says:

Things have changed 5 months later with amd launching additional CPU’s as well as lowering prices on existing CPU’s. 5600 at $200usd makes sense for that price point although the 12400F might be more desirable at those prices.

My.3600 was defective so I replaced it with the 5600. I would have gotten a 12600k and b660 board if I were starting from scratch though

JamieTC says:

How would the i5 12600k do for streaming as I'm looking for a new CPU for streaming but I want it to be intel.

Nicolas B says:

Excellent video, I really enjoy the buying scenario, I am with am4 at the moment and will wait next year to switch to intel if price drop

Ra says:

If I build a new pc. I will choose intel because z690 motherboard offers newest features like pcie 5.0 and intel z690 chipset. They can be a bit expensive, but their values won't drop fast like purchasing a 2 years old product. However, if I am looking to build a budget gaming pc or upgrading from an old amd platform I will go for amd. Amd offers high end motherboards with reasonable prices.

The Binklem Network says:

when actually making purchasing decisions, THIS IS THE CHANNEL

700mobster says:

which cpu would be better for rts games with mods and such?

Mirko says:

Would the difference be different if you were using DDR4 on both processors? DDR5 is super expensive right now and if i were to build an intel pc i would probably reuse my 16gb ddr4 3200mhz ram

Arcturus says:

Ok now the price CPU & Motherboard…. And AMD wins by 150 % price ratio enough to buy ram , PSU , case and a decent gaming mouse.

Zyz says:

17:32 😂😂😂😂

damianocalcagni says:

hello, thanks for the video. (leaving out the benchmarks) While using the processor, have you noticed any particular area where you can exploit it and take advantage of its computing power at 100% (or a little less)? being a very powerful CPU that in general use makes no difference even compared to a 12400 or even cheaper CPU, in what can you feel the difference more? even with regard to some type of programs where the performance difference is more marked eg : programming: text editor; 3D design: gaming.

Tequila Ghoul says:

what air cooler would you recommend for a 12600k?

Juan Sebastian Osorio says:

Hi TD Love your channel 😍, One question . Should I wait or buy the 5600x or the 5800x?

Droz23 says:

The 12600k pulls way more power per core and is 2x the cost in ddr5 Ram and MOBO. All told, the Ryzen kit is infinitely more customizable and can be tweaked optimally for any game you play. You want light threaded speed? use PBO (performance boost Overdrive), Done. How about all core performance? Manual OC and done. Oh, your bottlenecking Video Rendering? Upgrade to the 5800x-5900x-5950x. Same ram, same Mobo, same cooler ( kinda).

My example;

Mobo= Strix x470 F gaming (started as an R5 2600 build with 3000mhz ram)
Ram = Trident Z NEO 4000MHz DDR4, Infinity Fabric set to 2000mhz. None B-dies, half the price of the CL16 version.
CPU = 5800x PBO and Curve optimzed at peak 5.05Ghz on 3 cores.The rest at 4.85Ghz.
Cooler = Old Corsair H100i V2 ( lasted through R5 2600, R7 3700x, now 5800x)
PSU= Prime tx-850 Platinum.

Every time you want new Intel shit it historically means upgrading CPU, MOBO at minimum. Then a New Windows install or at least finding that BS key somewhere if it even transfers. They are way hotter and require more case and CPU crap. Hence why they sell you E cores and P cores together. They would burn up otherwise. 10nm hybrid system cause they can't get performance at 7nm.

AMD is already launching soon the 5nm Chip in Gen 4 and working on a 3nm chipset in Zen5. We are talking about near passive cooling if you want it.

Finally, until Zen 4 comes out, I can upgrade my Mobo to x570 at DDR4 or DDR5. If and when DD5 actually makes a difference in practical performance I can boost again without Buying all new Shit. Cheers!!!

sfgfg rtregf says:

$320 for a i5 is just disgusting

meropolis says:

Lol I thought those test benches were scales for a second there 🤣🤣

Fist of Ren says:

Comparing both of these CPUs by running them with different DDR-Generations is useless. Just saying….

Resty Malinao says:

Awesome vid as always! I just wanna ask, will 12600K work perfectly with Gigabyte H610M H? Just gonna run it stock. I just want to take advantage of the 10 cores and stock speed.

aldaris38 says:

Finally someone who bench at 1440p…. thanks
