ONCE I shopped for an entire month with our five children. When I got done even the baby was holding something on his lap in his car seat. We had three in car seats at the time. I never did that again! Now, my husband and I each shop for ourselves, cook for ourselves and shop for the grandchildren when they are coming, two twice/week and the other two every other weekend. Our impulsive shopping is usually a fresh fruit or vegetable. We have no garden because we have no sunshine in our backyard and are aging so it's not as easy as it used to be. I'd love to see you with a bunch of children and where you would put their freezers and fridges.

Oh my God, I can't walk barefoot at all. I grew up with wearing flipflop, now I feel pain without wearing it. I love your shopping advice very much. I try to do like buying my milk, eggs and bread for at least one week (six of us). So I don't have to worry about going to the store in the middle of the week and spend more money for other things. But my husband like to go to the Costco every week and he brought so many confectionary stuff over the year that I don't have any more counter space. I am not a coupon person either, I depend on the sale on the day I go.
I didn't know that I can freeze the milk. I will try.
You are awesome. Thank you for sharing tips.

My husband, the cereal killer.

Sandy Oklahomatransient says:

I plan a head and shop so I limit hiw many times I go to the store as well. My question to you, how do you thaw out your milk? Do you place the milk carton in the sink, or just set in the refrigerator to thaw. I've done both and it seems the milk doesn't last long or it is spoiled….frustrated. Right now I have 10 gallons frozen in card board cartons, I hope I haven't wasted money 😒

Virgo la says:

Hi, I know Crocks are expensive but if you buy the basic style, there are less costly and once you buy a pair it will last you for a lifetime because the plastic is of really good quality. It's perfect to work in the garden.

I drink decaf coffee because of my health issues too!

I buy raw milk from a local farm. Do you know if freezing it will destroy its properties?

If he thawed the milk by sitting it on the sink, he wouldn't have to use a towel

Awesome tips!!! Regarding the black tea for the kombucha, have you or your husband noticed if the caffeine bothers you?

Car Free KC says:

Becky! Those Apple earbuds have a 1 year warranty! I usually buy mine through my Apple account just so the receipt is connected to my account… it makes it easy to send in a warranty request for a new pair. I get the wired earbuds and go through a few pairs each year. The $20 investment is well worth it!

Three things I recommend because I have Lupus and I understand about the feet hurting. One stretch, magnesium glycinate vitamin, arnica. I get zims which is an icy hot at Walmart and it has arnica in it but you can also get arnica oil or grow arnica make your own. But arnica helps with pain a lot.

Chris J says:

I did stocking when things started getting a little crazy towards the end of 2019 and very thankful I did! When the lock down hit in 2020 my hubby and I were prepared to stay in for well over a month. We only had to go out afterwards once a month to replace the can goods, dairy, meat and bread we had used. Since the beginning of Spring this year (2021), we had planned on having a big garden so we have been using up our can goods and not replacing them to make room for our home grown canned goods. I always wondered about freezing milk and if freezing it changed the taste or texture of it. It’s good to know now milk taste the same after freezing. Thank you for the tips on freezing milk and shopping.

Nancy Fahey says:

Before the virus I would go several times a week. I only bought what was on sale, carried that little basket and left when it got full. I'd zip thru and get what I needed and out the door. Kept me true to my keto way of life. And for those doing keto and have trouble getting past the Enntamins donuts and Lays potato chips, have an Electrolyte drink before you go.

Frogified Manifesto says:

Hi Becky! Binging on your videos! My daughter has the same bladder condition and she has been getting Botox treatments in her bladder at her specialist and it’s been amazing for her and lasting about six months.

I work at a grocery store and sometimes I see the same customers twice during my shift of 8 to 9 hours.

Shelly Sherwood says:

All the money saved from on sale milk will come in handy when he has to go to the ER for his health issues from eating Frosted flakes every midnight with whole fat milk then flopping into bed. Of course he has reflux. 🤦‍♀️

Becerelli’s Books says:

Great tips. We don't have coupons in Australia but we do have 1/2 price sales so I always shop the sales. If you have a well stocked pantry you'll never pay full price for anything.

Joli Garcon says:

I have to laugh, drinking decaffeinated coffee yet bought tea and chocolate. 🤣🤣🤣 As for croc I have 2 new pair I ordered they sent size 8 by accident fir me and my husband Hates his size 11. Both put back in bag and put in goodwill bag. To much trouble to send back and do refund or exchange. No more mail order shoes. He said find them home.

Eat before you go grocery shopping to avoid even more impulse buys. Meal plan and make a list for only items you need to complete the meals. And stick to the shopping list. 😊❤
