A new trend in fast food is heating up competition. Burger King is the latest chain to serve up a combo meal with their “five for $4” deal. McDonald’s version is the “McPick 2.” Wendy’s, Pizza Hut and Papa John’s also recently announced deals. CBS News financial contributor Mellody Hobson joins “CBS This Morning” from Chicago to discuss the chains’ strategies.
Just paid a visit to the border(Taco Bell). I had a super crunchy taco, and refried ''abichuelas'', and a small soda(coke). ''$5.60(u.s.) and a… ''BELCH"….It was real good.
The best pizza I've tried is Chicago town stuffed crust, here in the UK it costs about £3.50 it's better than the crap from pizza joints
McDonald's also offers a "$4.99 combo bag" which offers more choices then the Wendy's or Burger King's combo deals. You can pick from a double cheeseburger, a bacon mcdouble, a bacon buffalo ranch mcchicken, or a bacon cheddar mcchicken. Then two sides of either medium fries, 4 piece chicken mcnuggets, side salad, pie, sundae, or a cone. Then choose a drink: medium soft drink, medium sweet tea, dasani water, medium iced coffee, or a small mccafe shake or frappe for an additional $1. Now that's what I call a combo deal!!!! 😊🍔🍟🍗🍦
