How to buy overpriced shit.. guess what i get way higher quality food that's 100% organic for less. And i know where it's sourced and how it is grown. I go to my local farmers market like any sensible person who wants higher quality product than any chain store at a cheaper price. Also you get invited to see and walk the farms.

but WHAT do you COOK with a zucchini, white chocolate, almond milk, .50 cents worth of peanuts, stew beef, and a box of random salad toppings and some gravy? Thats my problem with couponing is that even though you can save so much, its only if you are buying things you didnt want, and allow the sales and coupons to dictate your menu.

My city was just very recently gentrified. It is mainly a latino/Asian mix community & whenever I stop by WF to buy my coconut water as it's the only thing I can afford there, you see nothing but a sea of white faces that you have never seen in this town before. You rarely see a locals or " ethnics " in there as their paychecks only allows them to shop as far as your average grocery store. South Park had it completely right, the side of our town that has the WF's has a brand spanking new shopping center, shiny new apartments, & perfectly paved roads. While on the other side of the tracks, you'll see pot holes, vagrants, old homes, discount shops, liquor stores etc…

You two are way too enamored of Whole Foods. They sell tons of GMO crap. They're over priced. They sell "organic" foods from China, lol. They've been caught on camera lying to customers. They've been caught multiple times overcharging customers. Great place.

Okie Farmer says:

I was talked into going to a Whole Foods the other day. Bought some cheese I wanted to try, It was very good. At $6.00/ 3 OZ seemed high. Found the same brand from other stores $15.99 per pound, Whole Foods would have been over $30 per pound. Looked at fresh fish. 3 times the price as our wholesale fish market who gets theirs flown in. under ripe Avocados for 2.60 each my local store is 99ยข ea and don't have to wait 3 days to use them.

I'll leave Whole Foods to these two ladies who like those great prices. And stick to the co-op.

sellmav says:
