Can you refer me to someone in Los Angeles and not back East. Its so "CHEAP" in Virginia. But, the cost of living in Los Angeles is so expensive. Even if you live a tiny place with a family of 6. Rent is $2500 for a 1 bedroom. And its about a 950 sf. You Gals back EAST have it made with coupons and cheap grocery stores. The OCC Gang shopper has it made out their. Maybe you could refer us to a gal out here in Los Angeles County.

When I worked at Aldi I made $60 in one year just from picking up change on the floor.
That wouldnt last my family of 5 for half week
In order to make the 50$ budget work, it is necessary to cut out meat. I have to as a single person for myself. The only meat I really have is canned tuna as it’s cheap. This is the only meat you may be able to include in this budget. It’s a sacrifice but remember it’s only temporary. Also, remember that if you have a family, everyone could eat healthier. It’s going to be tough..even as a single person it is. I can only imagine how it is for a family. At the same time, it can teach your kids to be more appreciative of certain kinds of food when you do not have to be on a small budget. Remember, it is only temporary for you to complete a goal. That’s what I tell myself.

I will definitely be going to Aldy’s. But for cheap meat products from a grocery store, Price Rite has better deals, such that I’ve seen so far. Ridiculously low; for instance: boneless chicken thighs.. $1.79, or less (3# or more). That’s boneless kids! That’s enough for me to eat for a week. Low prices beef (hamburger not withstanding), chicken, turkey, and frozen fish. I go to that store for my monthly meat requirements, then I’ll go down to Aldy’s For the rest. I’m on food stamps, and I don’t get a lot, so I have to be real careful. Thanks Freebie Lady. Ken H.
