Sorry this is so late in the day, but here’s this week’s video! It’s all about GROCERY SHOPPING! I apologize for the poor quality, it was a spontaneous video taken on my phone. Look past the phone quality and enjoy these tips I’ve been using for years! We cover how to save on Organic foods, name brand vs store brand, how to build a stockpile without breaking the bank, and how I grocery shop to feed my family of 7 on less than $200 per week.
How do YOU grocery shop?? Share below!

Loved your tips! My dad lso taught me to do that egg thing! Also, can we mention how beautiful your makeup was? Plus matching your shirt! A++ mama!

Haley ASL says:

One thing to keep in mind is that if you will use a gallon of milk or something well before the expiration date, to go ahead and buy the one that expires sooner. If everyone goes in and buys the furthest item back, many items will go bad and have to be thrown out, causing prices to go up and also being wasteful. Just something to keep in mind.

Are your legs still ok now

Jenn H-Whelan says:

You should do a collab with someone who is a vegetarian or vegan household. It would really help out the rest of the families looking at these tips. 👌

Valerie Martin says:

Do you freeze your meat the way it is packaged or do you refreeze it to keep out freezer burn?

karennlloyd07 says:

Hey! Thanks for the video it’s was very helpful. But I do you make a budget and use the envelope methods if you only get paid once a month? I only get paid once month and I am trying to come up with a budget to live out of and save too. Single mom and I need help!

Shannon Farner says:

What do you do now that Walmart no longer price matches or accepts competitors coupons? The app does not really seem to catch it all.

Heidi Jones says:

Shopping at Aldi will save you a ton of money if its in your area! 🙂 I loved your tips.

Sandra Sutton says:

I purchase the yellow stickers and cook the same day or next and freeze them. Saving money is what its all about.

Rayda Simmons says:

"Mama J is going to spank you!" – best part 😂!!

Samantha Laskovitch says:

Hey I just saw bagged apples…I thought u should buy loose?

Sam Robinson says:

I’m shocked you don’t make your own laundry detergent

Aimee York says:

Just discovered you guys and I love your videos – SO informative🤔! Jordan, has anyone ever told you that you look like Giuliana Rancic from E! Channel? Pretty🌷

Katie Bradley says:

I like getting the frozen/cooler stuff last. My thinking is that, you don't know how long it's going to take you to get home or what problems you're going to run into. So waiting to get that stuff last, buys you more time

geovalera44 says:

Love the envelope trick! It really does help me stay accountable and in budget every week.

Jack Rose says:

Okay… so not true about food being safe at WalMart if it’s got that yellow tag on it. Have bought items on “yellow tag” and tried to use the same day— yuck!! Moldy rolls, weird spots on steaks, especially fruit & veg!

Nicole So says:

In Australia the generic rule doesn’t always apply to cans and jars. A lot of the time the brand-named jars and cans are more expensive because they’re produced by Australian growers and factories whilst the cheaper ones come from China where the farming laws are a lot looser and the factories don’t offer their workers fair conditions. Another consideration is that the supermarket owned brands like Select don’t have to buy shelf space, so they’re cheaper, but this edges out independently owned brands that give people jobs and offer farmers more options. All I’m saying is that sometimes paying 70c extra on crushed tomatoes is better than making a donation to a local charity.

Catherine Binns says:

I just wanted to thank you sooo much you’ve hanged so much for me! We are a family of 4 low income and we struggled budgeting for shopping and I’d buy way too much until 3 weeks ago when I came across your videos and watched the envelope system. Now I plan our meals on the Sunday night for the week and we go shopping on the Monday and get what we need for that week. OMG it has changed us so much the kids are loving their improved mummy making lots more healthier meals xxxx

Patsy Kunchick says:

I feel so smart! I have shopped for years weekly but I also buy can food one week, meats the next, snacks the next for example. my extended family thinks that is strange. Thank you for saying that you do the same!!!

aimee schmidl says:

Great video! As much as prepackaged produce being more expensive it’s terrible for our environment! Also can you please switch to reusable shopping bags 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

Geri Gowers says:

I laughed when I saw your tip on running your fingers over the eggs. I'm a senior now, but when I was a kid, my Mom used to do that and I wondered why she was counting how many eggs were in the container when it said there was a dozen. Have to say that I've done it myself now for years.

maggie klein says:

Was that a bag of apples?

Kalista Lizbeth says:

It is important to be in the habit of paying attention to the price per unit because I have been shopping and noticed that sometimes the larger package is more expensive than the smaller one. Not often, but I have caught it. So be in the habit of just choosing the best price per unit. I noticed it most often at Walmart and Winco.

Cat D says:

Your grocery shopping videos have changed my life. I live in NY and EVERYTHING is too expensive. Thanks for all of these super helpful tips!

JonesThang says:

Those are all great tips that I use too. Today I got all my meat marked half off! Sell by tomorrow, went straight into the freezer. I made ribs on memorial day and have enough left over to make a different meal. I'm pulling pork right now to make 🌮 and 🌯! I was able to apply $100 to debt yesterday just by using your weekly budget plan last month!!! Super excited!!!

Candice Johnson says:

I use most to all these tips and still struggle to stay at the $100 per person budget. I love scoping out the marked down items. Love them!

Aurielle Sambueno says:

$1.98 for 1 gal of milk!?! Holy moley! In hawaii it's $4.98 for the cheapest gal.

The Rok Family says:

Thank you very good tips

Deborah viner says:

don't know if you'll even see this but thanks for the video a lot of things i already do but i really watched the price per whatever and saved over 50$ today thx
